Life so far as Mom

It has been two and a half weeks since the birth of our daughter and while some days seem long, time has flown by. Last night at two in the morning, with my daughter dozing on my chest after eating, it hit me that while getting up three times every night for feedings gets really really tiring, she won't be sleeping on me forever. I need to cherish every moment I have with my baby. She is so small and precious and God has entrusted Grace into our care. And if you can believe it, I feel like I love her more and more every day. So, while at the end of the day the house may be a mess and I may be exhausted, if I have a happy baby girl, I have accomplished much.

And of course some new pictures per request of Grandma Mogford and just because.

Grace's wide eyed face. Makes me laugh every time.

Great Grandpa and Grandma Everest came to visit us yesterday. This is their first great-grand child. It was great to see you guys.

It will definitely go fast! My babies are already almost 2 1/2 and almost 1!! I was watching home videos of Silas as a baby and though it was only 9 months ago, it seems like he was never a baby. I am so excited for you guys as you start this new part of your life. Kids get better and better.
